Daal punchmel

This daal(lentil curry) is my all time favourite. It consists of five lentils. Moong, masoor, toor, urad and chana. If you are not fimilar with the names, I have placed the image of lentils with there respective names.

for this daal . You need 2 ratio of each of the following lentils (toor, moong masoor.) And 1 ratio of (Chana and urad). Soak them together for an hour.

You need to Boil/ pressure cook it with salt. Once cooked the final result should be that chana will be slightly undercooked urad over cooked and rest of the lentils will be homogeneous.

Roast cumin seeds in 1tb each of oil and ghee.

add salt, paprika ( or red chili) turmeric.

mix the daal and let cook for another 30 minutes.

add green chilies

give a mix
